Below is a comprehensive list of the data point types (also known as tag types) supported by ei3 and our data collection services.

A basic and default process data feedback data point. It is used to collect most data from the HMI on the machine. |

Machine speed (FB) |
This point is used to collect the machine’s run (line) speed during standard operation. It is the actual speed of the machine, and is used across web services such as the Machine Overview/Mobile Portal/API applications. |

Production material total count delta |
This point tracks the change (delta) in total material count on the machine during its operation time. This is a requirement for OEE calculations – make sure the correct scale type is set for Delta value. |

Production material good count delta |
This point tracks the change (delta) in good material count on the machine during its operation time. This is a requirement for OEE calculations – make sure the correct scale type is set for Delta value. |

This point tracks an optional, alternate speed measured in a different unit listed in unit of data point. |

Number indicating machine state related to production, Stopped, Running, Idle etc. as defined in the machine (varies by product line) configuration table. Used in downtime tracking, OEE uptime calculations, and machine state diagrams. |

This point is used to indicate if a recipe loads successfully. Used to coordinate the loading of recipes. |
